Pichler in Bad Feilnbach

The selection and quality of the baked goods and cakes is very good. When I asked a saleswoman whether card payment was not possible - as is now common practice with other bakeries - I was answered somewhat arrogantly that it was a country bakery. Especially in times of Covid-19, I think it is extremely important to reduce the use of cash as much as possible. In addition, the prices for installing such POS systems and the transaction costs are no longer as high as they were a few years ago. So my request: The switch to cashless and contactless payment should finally take hold in Bad Feilnbach as well. This increases hygiene. The baker also benefits: the change no longer has to be brought to the bank in the evening.

Attention wrong opening times! Now I remember that I had reported it some time ago, but open for a shorter time in winter. So today, after a strenuous hike, we no longer enjoyed the usual oversized portions 😕

As an experienced baker's critic, I can only say that no one salted the pretzels better than the Pichler bakery! The staff was also very nice and the pumpkin seed rolls could not have been better tasted. The selection was so large that it knocked my socks off! For me the best bakery I have ever found.

Definitely the better baker in Bad Feilnbach!

Unfortunately, some of the sellers neither the distance rules nor the nose and mouth protection rules. But we customers have to. The goods are touched with the hands ... gloves or pliers none.

Unfortunately card payments are still not possible! That's why I still buy my baked goods in the Penny market! Btw. the pretzels are much better there!

The goods are varied and good. The offer too. I deducted two stars because I was extremely annoyed by two sales women in Au. Once at 5:30 p.m. the display was empty and everything was stowed in plastic boxes. When asked if I was late, the answer came, no, otherwise they would not be able to finish work on time, as the goods would be picked up. And today was the super meltdown. The seller was tired of 13 minutes before the store stopped trying to put bread out of the basket. She said "it's fun to look there now". I'm not buying anything anymore

Great price performance, as far as the cakes are concerned, we didn't try anything else ... seats were quickly occupied all the time, that speaks for itself!

This Sunday in this dream weather you could take a rag in your hand to wipe the tables outside, these five minutes you could take a shame. At the counter, with the exception of a shop assistant who came across in a very friendly and pleasant way, the other women lacked any motivation, as the cakes and tarts are very fine in taste and have an enormous size, except for the pastries, lots of air and little taste , especially the bretz'n, every baker probably has his own philosophy !!

Pieces of cake are big, but the taste is rather poor. The purchased apple strudel was subterranean in taste and very fluid (see picture). During transportation in the car, the apple strudel softened the packaging and spread out in the car. An apple strudel is also usually rolled ... it only has a thin layer of strudel dough at the top and bottom (no specialist work!)

Excellent cakes, tarts and baked goods. Regional ingredients with proof of origin and prepared with love. Friendly service.
